Immigration is one of the biggest current problems in Spain. This problem did not start this year but has been going on for several years. This problem is based on the arrival of immigrants from other parts of the world without papers and documentation to our country. The largest influx of immigrants are from Eastern Europe (Romanians, Ukrainians, Latvians, etc ...); North Africa (Moroccans, Algerians, etc ...) and South America (Ecuador, Bolivians, Colombians, Paraguayans, etc ...).
immigration causes many problems but also some advantages. The main problems are:
-undocumented immigrants come to our country, causing employers have to hire them illegally, without social security, working long hours and gaining little.
"If can not find work to survive, many have no choice but to steal so many people take them all as bad people.
"When they come illegally and are caught by police if you do not need health care, have to be repatriated, and that costs some money to the English State.
-present in students from schools is increasing the percentage of foreign children and may soon equal or even exceed the English children, hence must increase special classes to suit the language and customs, which cause a great investment for the state.
"Many are street gangs like the Latin Kings, the net, the sarperos, etc ... , Which cause many problems in the population.
The main advantages are:
-Foreigners, not having much to survive, when they arrive in Spain have to accept the jobs that many English people do not want, that is, the harder the work on the field (collection of strawberries, grapes, olive collects ...), or masonry, etc. Thanks to them these jobs are still being normal, although they are paid very poorly.
"Thanks to them increases the population, especially the young and adult, and helps to rejuvenate the population.
"We teach new things about their culture that help to complete ours.
Apart from the advantages and inconveniences, immigrants generate diverse opinions on the English people. Many people are treated almost as if they were people and discriminate by race, skin color, accent, customs and religion. Discriminate against others because as some steal, get drunk, hit women, and believe that all are, but not true. Finally, other people are discriminated against because they say they come to Spain to take the jobs to the people, when in many cases they do the jobs that nobody wants.
Other people are more tolerant and help them integrate into the country, culture, etc.
In our opinion, the solution could be that immigrants actually do these evil deeds, we should send them back to their country or lock them long. This would no longer see immigrants as bad people, because immigrants would be people who would remain integrated in society.
