How Violent Is Any Given Sunday?

Earlier we talked about the ability to decide the dog, which is based on memory, which is the mental faculty through which information is retained. This information can be obtained from the outer world perceptions through sensory organs, or new behaviors that are obtained by learning all that is then stored and retained.

According to the ability to retain information found two types of memory: short and long term. The short-term memory capacity is limited and lasts a few minutes, but records the information effortlessly, but the long-term memory has a virtually unlimited capacity and duration, although it requires more effort. The

dog training is closely related to memory, because basically what we do is teach the dog new behaviors that will be retained in long-term memory. As the memory of each dog is different, the ability to learn will be more or less rapidly, so we must adjust the pace of training for each dog differently. Also be borne in mind that learning is imperfect, so totally not retain what you teach. Over time the dog may forget part of learning, but it is easy to recover with a little practice.

Finally, adding that the dog does not have the same ability to recall all types of perceptions. Like its smell is better than his view, recall the smells better visual perception.
